Education & Training of Surveyors
AUBREY  BARKER  FUND
Charity Commission No. 263855
About us
This fund was created to support  education, training, research
and projects related to the disciplines of land surveying, quantity
surveying and land economy.

The fund was set up in March 1972 in memory of Aubrey Barker, a distinguished
surveyor from Guyana, who was president-designate of The Commonwealth Association
of Surveying and Land Economy  (CASLE)  but died before taking office.  He had done
so much to promote CASLE that colleagues throughout the Commonwealth contributed
to a fund to be used in support of education, training, research and projects related to
the disciplines of land surveying, quantity surveying and land economy (“the disciplines”).

From time to time other donations have been received, and the trustees are empowered
to invite and accept subscriptions, donations, bequests and gifts of money or other
property for the purposes of the Trust.
